- Project Operations Manager
Basic Function of the Position
The Project Operations Manager will support the project Resident Advisor and Intermittent Advisors, in a range of project related managerial activities including effective stakeholder communication and coordination, project research, analysis, reporting, documentation, training and implementation, and interpretation and translation, in line with established project work plans and objectives.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs and status updates to support informed decision making and planning;
- Develop and maintain communication matrix of key stakeholders across various Ministries and other partner agencies including the frequency and the desired method of communication;
- Develop a process to follow up with project teams and others with reminders of deadlines;
- Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on approved Log Frame activities, outputs, indicators, and work plans;
- Review, edit, and revise appropriate documents produced by others in support of advisors;
- Create and maintain a version control process that manages access to project documentation electronically and manually;
- Provide logistics support including scheduling meetings, document meeting notes, collecting and disseminating information to appropriate end users as directed;
- Coordinate with project leads to formulate training schedules and logistics, update training documents, confirm attendance, compile evaluation forms, and summarize feedback from participants;
- Represent the advisors with counterparts when requested to evaluate situations and determine proper course of action including immediate communication as needed;
- Provide or arrange for interpretive translation services at all meetings and trainings between advisors and counterparts;
- Perform other duties as needed for the successful implementation of the project activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree;
- Master’s degree is preferred;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Fluency in written and oral English.

Desired Skills
- Previous experience working with Ministries/Institutions of Government of North Macedonia;
- Basic knowledge in budgeting and financial management processes of Government of North Macedonia;
- Experience with project support and coordination at various levels;
- Experience with public financial management reform projects.
