• Head of dental department

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Strategic Management of the Department

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the growth and development of the dental division;
• Set and monitor annual goals (sales, operational, financial);
• Represent the department in meetings with suppliers, clients, and partners.

Team Leadership and Coordination

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team including:
  • Product specialists managing supplier portfolios;
  • Field sales representatives;
  • Sales depot and warehouse staff;
  • Technical support and service technicians.
• Provide guidance, motivation, and performance evaluation.

Supplier and Portfolio Management

• Maintain strong relationships with multinational suppliers;
• Ensure optimal product mix and positioning on the local market.

Sales and Market Development

• Oversee the execution of sales strategies and achievement of sales targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Operational Oversight

• Ensure efficient daily operations across the sales depot, warehouse, and field activities.
• Coordinate logistics, inventory management, and service interventions.

Regulatory and Quality Compliance

• Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and quality standards in dental product distribution and servicing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in Dentistry, Pharmacy, Business Management, or related field;

• Ideally 5 years of experience in dental/pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role;
• Fluent in English (oral and written); additional languages are a plus;
• Proficient in MS Office;
• Strong leadership and communication skills;
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving;
• Knowledge of the dental market and product technologies.
