Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Back-End, Team Lead to join our team and contribute to building robust, scalable, and efficient systems. In this role, you will work on developing new features, enhancing existing functionality, and collaborating on innovative solutions for our clients. You’ll play an integral part in creating high-quality applications and expanding our technical capabilities while growing your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Participate in the development of new features and expand existing features.
• Add support for new platforms to our existing products and develop new products.
• Develop and review designs, code, unit tests, system tests, and documentation.
• Collaborate in root cause analysis; diagnose, isolate, and fix software problems.
• Design and implement for reuse and flexibility of design.
• Demonstrate your work product to your team.
• Identify and correct issues that impact performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.
• Lead and mentor a team of back-end engineers, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with project goals.
• Drive sprint planning, task prioritization, and code review processes to maintain high development standards.

Requirements and Skills

• Extensive knowledge in one of C# and .NET.
• Extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle to include agile methodologies, code quality, and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
• Driven to build modern systems that emphasize user experience and aesthetics.
• Excellent writing and written/verbal communication skills.
• An eagerness to learn, explore and introduce new technologies.
• Knowledge of application development and testing preferred.
• Leadership abilities with minimal oversight.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful interfaces.
