Synergy is currently seeking an Experienced Windows System Administrator.

 

Responsibilities:

  •     Manage internal or external customer Windows systems outsourced to the client, as well as to use his creativity and experience to improve the methods in place
  •     Provide daily support on different customer environments;
  •     Manage Windows servers and Microsoft Technology: troubleshooting, proactive management, security management, daily operation and optimization;
  •     Plan, implement operating systems, apply software patch and new versions updates, apply security fixes;
  •     Be involved in new Windows server’s deployment projects, using the standard department policies
  •     Understand performance metrics and maintain / optimize system capacity and performance;
  •     Create and update system documentation
  •     Participate in the improvement of IT Service Management processes
  •     Availability to provide 7 / 24 support on duty pager

 

Required skills:

  •     MCITP / MCTS / MCSA / MSCE certifications are considered as assets
  •     Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System administrator on production environments
  •     Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2012;
  •     Experience with Microsoft Active Directory 2003/2008/2012;
  •     Experience with Hyper-V
  •     Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010 and SharePoint are considered as assets
  •     Knowledge of any backup software
  •     Knowledge of Windows networking
