Job Title: Lead Biller

Location: Skopje, Macedonia (Office-based)

Working Hours: Afternoon Schedule

We’re looking for a motivated Lead Biller to join our growing team in Skopje. This role will act as a liaison between the client’s suppliers, customers, freight companies and internal departments. You will be assigned to a Customer Service Team and will work with their team members to support the efficient operation of the company by managing a list of assigned accounts by ensuring timely billing of supplier loads, entering data and notes, attaching supporting documentation, contacting customer for shipment confirmations and RWN’s, handling customer service requests and initial escalations, finalizing transactions and communicating directly with the company’s partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attaching documentation to corresponding worksheets in cieTrade.
  • Review open shipments and request information on established timetable from each customer and hauler
  • to ensure account integrity.
  • Manage supplier deadlines and due dates.
  • Finalize prior months loads prior to the fiscal close of each month.
  • Understand the usage of Release Numbers, Mill Reference Numbers, Pick-up Numbers, Expense Lines
  • and Manifest Bill of Lading Numbers.
  • Escalate any accounts to the Account Rep and CC the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Logistics
  • Manager on any that have missing information or integrity concerns after multiple requests have
  • been made to resolve issues.
  • Enter weights and attach BOL’s and RWN’s to worksheets in cieTrade. Link sales order/purchase order to the worksheet.
  •  Manage Sales and Purchase orders for assigned accounts.
  • Review discrepancies between BOL’s and RWN’s to ensure compliance with weights and measures.
  • Enter and attach Invoices to worksheets and billing sheets and enter weights and service charges to billing sheets in cieTrade as received.
  • Communicate to Account Rep when issues arise.
  • Update shipped loads to reflect details from supporting documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level or higher).
  • Basic knowledge of service, logistics and accounting principals
  • Degree in accounting, business, finance, management or related field
  • Proficiency in cieTrade
  • Intermediate Excel skills with proficiency in other Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with an emphasis on service and the ability to collaborate with staff, vendors and leadership
