Job Title: Accounting Receivable

Location: Skopje, Macedonia (Office-based)

Working Hours: Afternoon Schedule

We’re looking for an ambitious Accounting Receivable to join our growing team in Skopje. In this position, you will be assisting the Director of Finance in a wide range of accounting functions. The role is primarily responsible for receiving and entering payments into cieTrade, reconciling accounts, problem solving, invoicing customers and collecting on past due accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
• Contact and request payment for delinquent accounts by phone and email
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, and customer service
• Monitor and reconciling Unapplied Cash Receipts
• Maintain and track collection efforts
• Invoice customers twice daily
• Maintain Accounts Receivable inbox
• Escalate past due accounts to Director of Finance

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level or higher).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Ability to adapt and become proficient in new software
• Degree in accounting, business, finance, management or related field is preferred
• Intermediate Excel skills with proficiency in other Microsoft Office suite of products
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills with an emphasis on service and the ability to collaborate with      staff, vendors and leadership
