Account Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk Assistant to support our title processing operations. The ideal candidate will assist the Title Clerk in handling all vehicle title and registration documentation to ensure timely and accurate processing. This role requires strong attention to detail, administrative accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced dealership environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in preparing and processing new and used vehicle titles (Prepare mock Title Assignments and Title Applications for lenders for funding).
  • Review purchase contracts, tax forms, lien releases, and affidavits for accuracy and completeness.
  • Submit title applications to appropriate state agencies and track their progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems for all title-related transactions.
  • Communicate with customers, banks, and DMV offices if necessary, regarding title status, missing documentation, or processing questions.
  • Perform data entry and update vehicle inventory systems with title information.
  • Collaborate with the sales and finance departments to ensure all deals are processed correctly and on time.
  • Follow up on title corrections and issues such as lien errors, VIN discrepancies, or lost titles.
  • Assist the Title Clerk with any additional administrative duties or special projects as required.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Previous experience in a dealership, title clerk, or administrative support role preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of title and registration procedures and DMV requirements (training on the go provided if needed).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology (copiers, scanners, dealership DMS systems).
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional attitude.
