We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code to join our team. You will be responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining mission-critical systems that power high-availability online platforms.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to automate workflows, optimise deployment pipelines, harden security, and improve system reliability. As a senior member of the team, you will also help shape best practices, mentor engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions that ensure operational excellence across environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud environments (AWS or similar).
• Manage Kubernetes-based application deployments, upgrades & monitoring.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity / Octopus Deploy or similar).
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and other automation tools.
• Develop and maintain observability stacks (logs, metrics, tracing, alerting).
• Drive performance, cost optimisation, and system reliability improvements.
• Ensure security best practices across pipelines, infrastructure, and workloads.
• Mentor engineers and promote DevOps culture and modern automation practices.
• Collaborate with software, data and security teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations where required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years DevOps/SRE/cloud engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC, etc.) or equivalent cloud provider.
• Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS or self-hosted).
• Strong proficiency with CI/CD tooling (TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform required).
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration fundamentals.
• Familiarity with service mesh and ingress technologies (NGINX, Istio, etc.).
• Deep understanding of networking (DNS, load balancing, CDNs, firewalls, VPNs).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Coralogix, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, OpenSearch, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloudflare (Workers, WAF, load balancing, caching).
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, or other distributed systems.
• Knowledge of SQL and cloud database platforms.
• Experience supporting high-availability and high-traffic architectures.
• Understanding of security frameworks & tooling (vaults, SIEM, vulnerability scanning).
• Exposure to GitOps tooling (ArgoCD / Flux).
• Experience in regulated environments (gaming / fintech / banking).
