What We’re Looking For
As a Requirements Engineer, you will be responsible for accurately capturing, structuring, and documenting requirements for software solutions developed for our international client. You’ll work closely with product management, development, and QA teams to ensure a shared understanding of both functional and non-functional requirements.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze project ideas and new features in close collaboration with stakeholders
- Create and maintain detailed specifications (e.g., in Confluence, Word, or Markdown)
- Structure requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Support the team with prioritization and effort estimation
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and UX to ensure feasibility
- Manage change requests and maintain version control of specifications
- Contribute to quality assurance by reviewing implementations against specifications
Your Profile
- Proven experience in writing technical specifications for software projects
- Solid knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Ability to document complex topics clearly and in a structured manner
- Basic technical understanding (e.g., REST APIs, data models, UI components)
- Excellent English and German skills (spoken and written)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Independent and structured working style
Nice to Have
- Experience with UI/UX concepts and wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., data protection, ISO standards)
