We are looking for a Data Entry Specialist. The ideal candidate will be reliable, computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. Data entry specialist is responsible for digitizing data for storage purposes. The duties include gathering specified information, maintaining an organized filing system, and reviewing data for completeness and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and entering data in databases
• Type in data provided directly from different sources
• Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
• Maintaining accurate records of valuable company information
• Update existing data 
• Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost and file
• Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
• Maintain filing system
• Keep information confidential

Requirement

• Data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk will be considered as advantage
• Accurate and fast typing skills
• Knowledge of word processing tools, spreadsheets and online forms (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
• Working knowledge of office equipment
• Understanding of databases
• Good command of English both verbal and written
• Organizational skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks and great attention to detail 
• High school degree or equivalent
