Junior Incident Responder

What You’ll Do - Key responsibilities

• Assist with incident response activities under supervision while learning digital forensics and incident handling best practices.
• Support triage of medium-severity incidents
• Collect and analyze logs, endpoints, and network data
• Follow incident response playbooks
• Assist senior responders in investigations

What You’ll Need to be Successful

• 1–2 years SOC experience
• Basic understanding of network and endpoint forensics
• Familiarity with SIEM and EDR tools
• Analytical skills
• Knowledge of reading event viewer
• Advantages for knowing volatility and using forensic tools (OSForensics, FTK, Autopsy etc)

• Security+, GCIH (in progress)
