Requirements:

• Excellent English, both written and verbal is necessary.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, AutoCAD, CRM Software as well as online email services is essential.
• Professional attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills.

The role of the Technical Sales Assistant – Premium Flooring:

• Technical sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of natural stone, granite, terrazzo and porcelain.
• 40% of the time will be spent generating specifications via architects, design & build contractors, specifiers, house-builders and consultants.
• 40% of the time will be communication with main contractors, sub-contractors and end users.
• 20%  of the time will be related to logistics and back-office support.
• Will work closely with the internal team and other members of the sales team.

Good to have, but not a necessity:

• Aptitude to keep up to date with product information.
• Experience in disciplines like architecture or civil engineering related to the manufacturing or selling of tiles and marble.
• Ability to communicate in Italian.  
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Good understanding of sales cycle.
