We are currently looking for a " HSE Officer " who possesses the following qualifications and will work in North Macedonia;
- Implementing site inspections and performing the necessary interventions on site; preparing relevant reports
- Site checks for OHS.
- Supervision and control of subcontractor’s activities on site
- Participation to HSE Engineers site audits
- Providing data to the HSE Engineer durng monthly report prepartion (near misses, improvement suggestions, closed HSE actions)
- Ensuring the control and control of fire extuingisher equipment,
- Controlling the implementation of the project HSE Plan in the field, reporting the deficiencies, monitoring the implementation of corrective actions in the field
- To be in constant communication with related parties in HSE issues and to make necessary reports.
- To conduct periodic reporting under the Project Plan
- Inspection of machinery, equipment and materials belonging to suppliers
- Other work required by the project HSE unit.
- Carrying out examination and reporting tasks related to work accidents, environmental accidents and other OHS incidents as a research team member.
- To check ventilation, walking way, communication and fire points and their functioning and to report the deficiencies.
- To check whether the required dust, gas, lighting, vibration and noise measurements are made regularly.
- To check whether the personnel use personal protective equipment.
- To ensure that emergency escape, first aid, eye shower, stretcher etc. equipment is in place and complete.
- Risk assessment, recommendations on measures to be taken, actions to follow.
- Monitoring and recording of waste
- Providing OHS on-the-job training.
At least has 2 years of experience on OHS field, graduated from vocational school, to work in shift system, preferably trained in firefighting, search and rescue, first aid and evacuation.
