For our client GENTHERM, global manufacturer for innovative technologies for automotive industry, we are looking for:

 

Quality Manager

 

Functions, duties, scope of responsibility and competence for the position:

  • Implementation, maintenance, support and development of a quality management system throughout the organization that guarantees compliance with international standards and is in accordance with the quality management standards of the Gentherm Group.
  • Ensuring and maintaining a quality initiative to achieve customer-oriented and valid quality goals.
  • Represent QMS in front of customers, certification bodies; actively participate in its continuous development and improvement.  
  • Ensure that Quality KPIs are accurately defined and effectively tracked.
  • Ensure that quality solving problem tools are known and used in order to keep continuous improvement approach within organization.
  • Ensure that quality team members are trained and capable effectively to perform their daily duties and tasks.
  • Use & develop mentoring features and couching principles within quality teams. 
  • Ensure operational Quality objectives to be defined and met.
  • Ensure & follow the effective use of all the Quality tools across product & process design and production management.
  • Support quality team members in escalation towards suppliers, customers and internal structures.
  • Ensure effective actions for major internal quality issues to be defined.
  • Ensure effective responses to customers on all quality issues to be provided.
  • Ensure effective responses to customers on warranty issues to be provided.
  • Participate in customer-facing discussions on aspects of product and process quality.
  • Perform and participate in internal quality audits, assure those are regularly planned and executed.
  • Participate in annual Quality management review of Quality system.
  • Assure readiness of organization to successfully pass customer audits as well as certification audits.
  • Ensure documentation system as required by ISO TS norms and internal rules is developed and maintained. 
  • Ensure calibration system of measurement devices to be developed and respected within organization.
  • Ensure statistic methods - SPC, MSA to be known and effectively used by the teams.
  • Ensure suppliers to meet expected quality Gentherm and automotive standards and make effort in case of deviations appear from them. 
  • Be responsible for budgeting and follow up of expenses related to various quality initiatives
  • To continuously monitor and report the performance of the entire quality management system and highlighting possible opportunities for improvement.
  • To perform other duties as assigned

 

Competence:

To implement, maintain and develop the quality management systems whilst ensuring that it constantly meets international standards, and is in line with the QM Standards of the Gentherm group.
