We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate QA Engineer to join our Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through comprehensive testing, automation, and quality assurance practices. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps engineers to identify, document, and resolve defects, ensuring that all software releases meet functional and performance requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, with an analytical mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to ensure product quality.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution using standard issue-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks and CI/CD test pipelines.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile development process.
• Ensure that all releases meet high quality standards and are delivered on time.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, Test Engineer, or in a similar quality assurance role.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, or JMeter.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with APIs and experience testing RESTful web services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance, load, or security testing.
• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of SQL for database validation and data integrity testing.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• ISTQB or similar testing certification.
