Positions: Audit Assistant, Audit Senior and Audit Manager
Work mode: Skopje office

1. Audit Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting financial audits under the supervision of senior auditors.

• Perform testing of internal controls, financial statements, and compliance checks.

• Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and reports.

• Verify accounting records and transactions for accuracy.

• Support in identifying risks and recommending improvements.

• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or last year of study in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates welcome).

• Basic knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and Macedonian GAAP .

• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication skills in Macedonian and English.

2. Audit Senior

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute audit engagements from planning to completion.

• Supervise and mentor audit assistants.

• Review financial statements for compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

• Identify key risks, control weaknesses, and suggest improvements.

• Communicate findings with clients and managers.

• Ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting, Audit, or Finance.

• 3+ years of audit experience (preferably in a public accounting firm).

• Strong knowledge of ISA, IFRS, and local GAAP.

• Experience with audit software (e.g., CaseWare, ACL).

• Leadership skills and ability to manage junior staff.

• Fluent in Macedonian and English (written and spoken).

Preferred:

• Certified Auditor (CA/ACCA/CPA).

• Experience with international audits (if applicable).

3. Audit Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple audit engagements and ensure compliance with standards.

• Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact.

• Review and finalize audit reports for senior management/clients.

• Develop audit strategies and risk assessment plans.

• Train and mentor audit teams.

• Stay updated on regulatory changes (Macedonian & international).

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive audit experience, including senior roles.

• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIA).

• Expertise in IFRS, ISA, and Macedonian GAAP.

• Proven track record in managing teams and client portfolios.

• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

• Fluency in English (additional languages a plus).

Preferred:

• Experience with international audit firms or cross-border audits.

• Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, IDEA).
