We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in Next.js and React to join our team. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing user-facing features, driving technical decisions for the frontend architecture, and collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams. As a senior engineer, you’ll play a key role in mentoring teammates, shaping best practices, and ensuring high-quality code that scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of web applications using React and Next.js.
• Collaborate with designers to create pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
• Drive architectural decisions to maintain performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, testing strategies, and best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar).
• Knowledge of SSR/SSG, dynamic routing, and Next.js optimizations.
• Strong grasp of performance optimization and web accessibility (WCAG, ARIA).
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Vitest, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with design systems or component libraries (e.g., React Aria Components, Radix, shadcn/ui).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, or headless CMS platforms (Umbraco).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (TeamCity & Octopus Deploy).
• Knowledge of frontend security best practices.
