We are looking for an experienced software engineer who enjoys leading a team and  the challenge of working outside the traditional and looking for new and better ways to solve problems through technology. Working with a small collaborative team, you will be fully engaged with the development of the company’s technology and solving the challenges while building an internal system. 

Requirements:

• 6+ years of development experience with PHP and frameworks, specifically Laravel.
• Expertise with SQL, schema design, and data migrations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• 2 years minimum of experience leading engineering team
• Scrum Agile experience
• Hands-on engineering experience and experience leading technical projects.
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field

Responsibilities:

• Designs, builds, and maintains efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Leads and participates in daily standups, iteration planning meetings, retrospectives and code reviews.
• Integrates data storage solutions.
• Helps maintain code quality, organization and automation.
• Develops and maintains a test suite.
• Directs and performs website updates.
• Remains current on the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
• Consistently meets task deadlines while maintaining high quality of deliverables.
• Makes recommendations to management for continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
