Junior Analyst

TabTale is looking for a Junior Analyst to look at our data and use analysis to let us know where we can make improvements to help our games reach their full potential. A unique opportunity to actively improve our mobile GP/iOS titles. We’d like to know more about what our players are doing, where they get stuck and what they want to do more of, so we’re looking for someone who loves numbers as well as keeping their finger on the gaming pulse.

Responsibilities:

• Full game analysis cycle: define game events, perform initial quality assurance checks, investigate and analyze the events, visualize the results 
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports
• Collect, analyze and interpret player behavior data
• Identify and communicate key trends and potential development improvements
• Monitor, evaluate and communicate the effect of game changes
• Analyze new tools, techniques and processes and how they can benefit TabTale
• Work effectively with minimal levels of guidance, prioritizing and scheduling your own work
• Collaborate productively within larger multi-disciplined project team environments to ensure available data is understood and put to its best use 
• Be responsive to deadlines and work well under pressure, meeting multiple production objectives and deadlines

Job Requirements:

• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent Excel skills, including pivoting capabilities
• The ability to query data in order to evaluate ongoing player behavior and interests in relation to game features
• Articulate and able to communicate data results and related conclusions effectively to staff from multiple departments
• Excellent initiative, self-motivation, organizational and problem solving skills, as well as team working and the ability to accept and follow direction
• Strong sense of curiosity and desire to learn

Advantages:

• 1+ years’ experience as an analyst
• See beyond numbers and perform creative thinking 
• A genuine interest in playing Casual games
• Working with datasets (SQL)
• Familiarity with web or Mobile analytic tool (Flurry/Google Analytic / DeltaDNA/ AppAnnie )
