Customer Support Representatives

THE POSITION

By stepping up on this position, as a Tech Support Specialist you will be a part of the digital
transformation that raised up the tourism and hospitality experience in Iceland.
Our hospitality software, the unique property management system serves thousands of hotels
and properties, thus in this role, you will add an additional asset to the end-user experience,
and together we will deliver the best service possible.
This role is not only limited to being the technical assistant and problem solver in our team, it
is much more - it includes acting as a mediator between our team of agents that are directly
in contact with the clients and also with our IT team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Troubleshoot technical support requests received via phone, email, or support portal
● Collaborate with internal teams to provide tailored support solutions for large
enterprise customers
● Respond to customer requests
● Data imports into Property Management System
● Connections to payment provider
● Integration between our PMS and several other services and systems
● Internal and external IT support to solve issues with account setups and emails.
● Connections to bookkeeping software
● Basic - IT troubleshooting
● Setup of booking pages in the client’s property
● Internal process documentation


REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:


● Excel/Google Sheets/Calc (formulas, pivot tables)
● SQL knowledge will be considered as an advantage
● HTML, CSS, JavaScript will be considered as an advantage
● Highly collaborative team player with very well developed communication skills
● Creative, a detail-oriented problem-solver with time-management skills
● Adaptive person, who is tech-savvy and eager to identify, learn, and use various online tools and technologies
