We are a fast growing technology company and are establishing a new software development centre in Skopje.
Producing software products to a high level of quality is crucial to our success as a company, particularly as our products are used by healthcare organisations. The company has decided to invest significantly in an exciting new Continuous Delivery initiative to improve quality and speed to market of our products.
Role Summary:
The Infrastructure Lead will lead a team of Infrastructure engineers providing mentoring and prioritisation of workload. The role is hands on offering 3rd line support for any technical or service issues that impact or affect the global infrastructure.
Prerequisites for this role are strong technical skills, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business and prioritise requests.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the global infrastructure and services
- Proactive monitoring of all technology systems
- Lead a team of Infrastructure Engineers
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure service standards are adhered too
- Identify infrastructure risks and create plans to ensure security, availability, reliability, serviceability and disaster recovery
- Ensure all procedures are suitably documented and published in accordance with service standards
- Interact with the Service Desk to help resolve IT-related 3rd line incidents and provide answers in a timely manner
- Escalate calls to internal and external support providers where necessary
