As a QA Engineer you will ensure the quality of every software release we deliver including web, API, and mobile applications. You'll work closely with the entire team in each sprint cycle from planning through to signing off the release to go live. The QA sits in a unique position within Coniq, requiring relationships with developers, product owners, support teams and internal users. This is an opportunity to take ownership and make your mark on the entire QA process.

This role is hybrid, and requires you to attend our office 2 times a week.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the QA team based between Skopje and London
• Introduce best practices for the automation projects
• Automate P1s and P2s flows
• Scale up the project in order to test different configurations, environments and data lakes
• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases (manual and automated)
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and user stories
• Identify, record, and track bugs through to resolution
• Perform regression, performance, and usability testing
• Write clear documentation for testing processes and procedures
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing
• Continuously improve testing tools, techniques, and workflows

Job requirements

• Has experience using a PHP LAMP stack
• Has experience using a modern framework (Symfony) and running on AWS
• Has exposure to some or all of Jenkins, Confluence, Runscope, PHPUnit
• Experience of using tools to query databases, make API calls, and analyse logs
• A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience as manual QA
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Experience with manual and automated testing
• Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, Postman, JIRA, TestRail, or similar (nice to have)
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Knowledge of API testing and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
