Swedish International Organisation offers full time job position for Resource Mobilisation Officer for their office in Skopje
The Resource mobilisation Officer • to contribute to increased resource mobilisation and diversification of funding for the programme in the region covering Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Moldova, Macedonia and Kosovo. More details available at www.impulsi.com.mk
Required Qualifications:
• Academic degree in relevant field;
• Experience of working in the Balkan region and/or Eastern Europe (Moldova)
• Minimum of 8 years of work experience in civil society organizations and/or international development cooperation;
• Experience in resource mobilization for an international organisation, development of funding proposals and good negotiation skills;
• Experience of preparing EU proposals.
• Strong analytical, conceptual and communication skills, works well in a team, excellent deadline management and ease to work towards set goals;
• Good knowledge of international relations, EU development policy and international development cooperation;
• Excellent English skills, both spoken and in writing;
• Proficient computer skills;
• Thematic knowledge and experience in relevant working fields; rural development, gender equality, climate change and environment.
• Available to work full time;
• Driver’s license; and
• Able and willing to travel when required.
Roles and responsibilities
General:
• Adhere to the organization principles and values;
• Promote the development of a rights based approach within the organization and together with partner organizations;
• Actively contribute to the strengthening and improvement of the work of the organization added value and synergies with and between partner organizations and other relevant actors;
• Actively contribute to the development of the regional team. Communicate challenges, contribute to conflict resolution and promote transparency and accountability;
• Develop and implement an annual work plan according to the format provided by the regional office;
• Carry out any other duties as instructed by regional management.
The candidates who have experience working in non-governmental organizations have priority.
