Agile Pro Solutions (APS), headquartered in the USA, is currently growing its team in Skopje.

For the needs of our Client in the USA, we are seeking a skilled Accountant to manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting functions of the company. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial data, timely reporting, and internal control processes. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in working with QuickBooks Online and collaborating with external CPAs and auditors.

Working hours: Monday – Friday: 4pm-12pm (on-site only)

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Perform cost allocations across departments and projects.
• Reconcile payroll records and coordinate with the payroll processor for timely submissions and reporting.
• Prepare and file financial compliance reports required by third-party agencies and funding bodies.
• Oversee the weekly review of company credit card transactions, investigate anomalies, and ensure transactions are categorized accurately.
• Generate monthly and quarterly financial statements and assist with year-end closing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in QuickBooks Online.
• Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, and tax professionals to ensure accurate filings and audits.
• Provide support for financial analysis and forecasting as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3​ years’ experience in a full-charge accounting role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Experience working with third-party compliance reporting, especially in government or education sectors, is a plus.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
