ESI (Employment Services International) for his client fast-growing IT company that operates within the US market is looking for an experienced CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER to join the team!

As Chief Operating Officer (COO) at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall business operations strategy as this is crucial for our growth and success. 

The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You’ll have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader. If you also have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Lead business with in-depth understanding of business development;
• Identify rising business opportunities to help the business reach its full potential by researching new markets, growth areas, trends, products and services;
• Set goals, plan and manage projects, manage the risks involved, forecast budgets, cost, time and resources needed to work on the project;
• Develop and grow the business by successfully building relationships in the industry, identifying opportunities, and completing partnership deals;
• Coaching on various analysis output to top and middle management and follow-up business model changes;
• Ability to build strong teams on a very short notice and ability to find and motivate talented people in key roles and middle management;
• Review operational data and adjust budgets to promote operational excellence;
• Streamline current products and support processes and ensure all of them are efficient and profitable.

Requirements

• Experience in a leadership/management role in a TMS software solution company for US market;
• Comfortable with Technology, awareness for the powers and limitations of computer systems;
• Ability to recognize areas of a trucking companies’ workflow that can benefit from digitalization;
• Entrepreneurial mindset;
• Creative and strategic thinker, open to new perspectives and better ways to do things;
• Self-initiative and hands-on-approach;
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving;
• Executive-level communication and influencing skills with the ability to resolve issues, build consensus among groups of diverse internal/external stakeholders;
• Proven skills in negotiating.
