Core Transport Network Development Specialist/Expert

Core responsibilities:

• Mainly responsible for end to end IP transmission, RAN network implementation with efficient cost and with focus on network operation and management;
• Direct management in administration for microwave/fiber network, optimization and transmission network for new sites and for different type of services;
• Drive support for development of IP transport network and IP-MPLS road maps, architectures and engineering practices with a strong focus on cost efficiency and network performance;
• Manage the transport network by communicating with internal operation team to build the highest levels of network performance;
• Solving all operational issues from the core transport network nature.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree Holder of the Electronics and Telecommunication or similar;
• At least 5 Years’ experience with minimum 2 years’ in telecom operator industry;
• Vast experience in the design and implementation of IP - MPLS networks especially in mobile backhaul part;
• Hands-on experience in the design and implementation, configuration and optimization of IP networks for both 3GPP RAN and Circuit, Packet, IMS Core networks;
• High level of awareness regarding changes in IP network technology standards and their repercussions for the organization and its operating companies;
• High level of experience in administration and configuration of Cisco PIX and ASA Firewalls and Huawei Firewalls;
• Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP…)
• Considerable experience with good system engineering practices and vendor engagement;
• Confident in decision making process;
• Business English speaker with efficient written skills.
