We are looking for a new Cash Posting Specialist who will be responsible for accurately applying and posting payments received to the software system. The specialist should have good judgment skills and be capable of making decisions with attention to detail as well as the ability to prioritize and coordinate workload with a high degree of proficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Recording/posting payments in the software system up to date.
• Daily reconciliation of the Received cash in the Bank with posted payments in the operational software.
• Managing deductions, short payments, overpayments, and multiple invoices being paid together makes it complex for AR staff to handle cash posting
• Researching and resolving discrepancies and keeping records of any discrepancies or differences in the payments
• Making and answering phone calls related to accounts.
• Daily communication with other departments, informing them about payments and invoices.
• Communication with the sender of the funds for any additional information regarding the payments.
• Resolving the payments received without reason, remittance, or by mistake.
• Assisting with other Payments-related duties
• Assist with other accounting-related duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High School graduate 
• Capable of making decisions with attention to detail.
• Time management skills – to ensure deadlines are met.
• Logic and critical thinking.
• Problem-solving skills – to be able to identify and resolve problematic situations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work in two shifts, one 12-20h, the other 15 - 23h.
