Job role

As a member of the Nedcann management team, Physical Security Manager (PSM) will ensure and maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and overall physical security of the facility by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures. Physical Security Manager will be supervising the security guard force and will report to the Head of Security, and will have close cooperation with the HR and the Facility Manager.
Physical Security Manager will report directly to the Head of Security.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Plan, direct, or coordinate physical security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property.
• Implement security standards, policies, and procedures
• Write or review security-related documents, such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives.
• Supervise and train subordinate security professionals or other organization members in security rules and procedures.
• Creating Order lists for security-related supplies and equipment as needed.
• Attend meetings, professional seminars, or conferences to be up to date with legislative directives or new technologies impacting security operations.
• Recommend and develop security procedures.
• Prepare reports on internal investigations, losses, or violations of regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches.
• Monitor security policies, programs, or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, and directives.
• Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct, support, or assist reviews, internal corporate evaluations, or assessments of the overall effectiveness of facilities security processes.
• Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.
• Collect and analyze security data to determine security needs, security program goals, or program accomplishments.

Your Profile

• 3+ years prior security or law enforcement related experience with proven leadership ability.
• BA  in the security sector or related area. Further education in security administration or a similar field will be an asset
• National security staff certification requirement
• Prior experience as shift leader and supervisor preferred.
• Project management skills.
• The ability to multitask.
• Analytical and problem-solving approach to work
• Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to creatively tailor solutions.
• Management skills to help with career progression
• You speak fluent English and Macedonian
• Proven experience as security manager or similar position
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
• Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Committed and reliable
• Up-to-date sector knowledge.
• Flexibility in order to adapt to evolving technologies.
• The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

•  Ability to write reports, manuals. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management
