JOB SUMMARY:

The responsible project manager on site is qualified to operate the wastewater treatment plant and has at least a degree as a specialist for wastewater technology.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Manager ensures safe operation of the membrane wastewater treatment plant and all associated plant components including the following tasks:

• The operation, repair and decommissioning of the technical installations
• Monitoring of the technical equipment / buildings / structures
• Recording damage and malfunctions
• Regular check of safety devices for function
• Elimination of damage and malfunctions
• Contact point for users to accept complaints, damage and / or fault reports in connection with the function of the wastewater treatment plant (3 times per week championship round)
• Initiation of maintenance measures and maintenance work by qualified personnel
• Care, cleaning and disinfection of the system and all associated components as well as their value retention
• Keep the operating diary and participate in all reporting tasks
• Sampling and verification of the target values ​​to be observed
• Stockpiling of the chemicals / operating aids, wear parts, spare parts and cleaning/disinfecting agents required for operation
• Monitoring the suction of sewage sludge
• Supervises the workers assigned to him and is responsible for the continued functioning of the plant.

Qualification:

• Secondary technical education, university degree would be a plus
• 3-5 years working experience
• Responsibility and ability to work without close supervision
• Willing to work in crisis-ridden areas
• Fluent in English language.
• Knowledge of German is an asset.
