We are looking for an Accountant/Billing Specialist to join our team. The candidate must have excellent accounting skills as well as deep organizational skills to accurately handle all the incoming payments, outgoing invoices, database updates and more that make up their day-to-day responsibilities. The accountant/billing specialist must also possess excellent communication skills to answer questions for clients, solve their issues and keep them updated for any issues..

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of client accounts and outstanding balances.
• Process and track incoming payments; update the accounts receivable database.
• Manage credit rebills and process rendition bills.
• Verify accuracy of system information and report discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing documentation for auditors and tax purposes.
• Provide regular and accurate billing reports; analyze aging structures.
• Record and post journal entries in the accounting software.
• Prepare invoices, bills and related documentation.
• Record intercompany transactions and reconcile daily balances.
• Conduct daily internal money transfers, payments and bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile between operational and accounting software systems.
• Maintain accounts receivable and payable; communicate daily with other departments about financial information.
• Perform monthly closing and year-end procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• At least 1 year of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience in MS Excel
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Organization and attention to detail
• Working hours: 15:00 to 23:00 (US working hours)
