Our Client is successful company from the mining industry. The company is located in the North-East part of Macedonia. For future development of their operation in Macedonia the company is currently in need of highly motivated professional at the position:

PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

Main responsibilities:

• Interfaces with Production Departments Managers (Operations, End Users) to plan and prioritize the purchasing activities
• Reviews received material requisitions for purchased items, and manages approval process
• Conducts self-directed market research
• Generates requests for quote, proposal, and information
• Secures and analyzes quotations, negotiates prices and terms with suppliers
• Tracks order acknowledgement, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports
• Tracks orders and confirms delivery dates
• Provide leadership with preparing a contract with the supplier and its maintenance
• Ensures orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts; nonconformance reports

Required Skills

• Excellent English and Macedonian
• Knowledge of Russian would be helpful but is not required
• Knowledge of technical terms in mining, technical/ industrial understanding or ability to learn the terminology in short time

Qualifications:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in fields of business administration, logistics, supply chain, finance or engineering.
• 1-5 years of Procurement experience is a preferred
• Experience with Commercial Contracts is a plus
