CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

About the Company:

Our client is one of the international company and member of an international group of companies with a global presence. In North Macedonia, our client has been successfully operating for many years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing objectives, policies, procedures and priorities related to financial management, budgeting and accounting. Ensuring that all processes, policies and procedures are compliant with local GAAP and Group accounting policies and procedures.
• Monitoring of tax laws and accounting standards
• Sets up accounting records for an accurate representation of all transactions and timely posting of business events in the information system
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reporting packages in line with local GAAP and in line with IFRS.
• Monitoring the realization of the annual inventory of assets
• Preparing various reports concerning the company’s business operations, prepares and participates in cost analysis, estimates and plans
• Performing tasks related to transfer pricing policies
• Interaction with inspection, tax and auditors

Requirements:

• University education
• Licenced Accountant
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance in an international company
• Experience in leading a team
• Good knowledge of North Macedonian tax, labor and other applicable legislation
• Good knowledge of international financial reporting standards
• Experience in preparing different types of reports and analyses, forecasts and budgets
• Professional user in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent knowledge of ERP accounting software
• Knowledge of English is mandatory
• Good communication skills, teamwork and cooperation, excellent analytical skills
