To further support their operations, they are looking to engage a highly capable and devoted professional for the position of

                                                                Senior Network Engineer

Job description:

• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including firewalls, routers, switches, SD-WAN solutions, DNS and DHCP.
• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Arranging scheduled upgrades and investigating faults in the network.
• Reporting network status to supervisors and customer management.
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
• Maintaining and improving support information and documentation.
• Supporting the Sales team in the process of presales by providing key expert technical knowhow
• Knowledge of configuring advanced cybersecurity solutions: WAF, ADC, Email Gateways, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, AI driven cybersecurity

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 4 years of work experience with network engineering
• Deep understanding of network designs and operations
• Excellent knowledge of English and MS Office
• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and VRF
• Experience with Virtual Private Networks (SSL VPN, IPSec, Client based)
• Solid knowledge in switching fundamentals such as Ethernet, VLANs, STP, HSRP, VoIP, and SIP
• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks and HPE Networking equipment
• Experience building distributed systems and highly available services and using network diagnosis and packet analysis tools
• Experience with SDWAN will be considered a plus
