Our client Zito Luks Skopje manufactures and sells bread and milling products primarily in Macedonia. It offers traditional and special bread, various types of flour, biscuits, fodder wheat flour, wheat germs, and other bakery products.

In order to ensure their further growth, we are looking for a dedicated food industry professional for the position of a

                                                       Research and Development Manager

Job description:

• Organizing, coordinating and controlling the work in R&D department
• Developing new products (or modify existing ones), from idea to realization in the production process and placed on the market
• Developing ideas for improving of existing products (quality, shelf-life or cost reduction)
• Keeping complete records of each project
• Ensuring monitoring and/or implementation of legal regulations in the field of safety food production and information connected with labelling the products
• Identifying, analyzing and approving new raw and packaging materials and support the Purchasing department in finding new raw & packing materials
• Preparing cost calculations of new and existing products
• Preparing and submitting documents for applications to authorized institutions, ex: Novel food; Health claims; Fortified food etc.

 Requirements:

• University degree in Food technology, Quality food safety
• Previous experience in the same field and in food industry is needed
• Proficient in English
• Ability for analysis and synthesis
• Communication and teamwork
