Job Description

You are a Support Engineer who is looking to gain experience and learn on the job. The role requires knowledge and understanding of the key areas of DevOps and our stack. Professional experience in all these areas is not expected. The role will enable you to get a hands-on experience in multiple areas.  If you’re looking for an amazing opportunity to learn very quickly, then this is the job for you.

Technical Requirements

Must have skills

• Good understanding of AWS infrastructure-based services
• Good understanding of DNS, networking (VPN, load balancing) and security
• Good understanding of Agile development practices
• Good understanding of working with a web based CMS
• Good understanding in working with monitoring systems
• Conceptual knowledge of relational databases
• Conceptual knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery
• Conceptual knowledge of version control and Docker
• Practical experience in working in Linux environment

Should have skills

• Practical knowledge of AWS infrastructure-based services
• Practical experience in AWS infrastructure-based services personally or professionally
• Practical experience of working with Docker 
• Practical experience with MySQL admin and queries
• Practical experience of working with WordPress CMS
• Practical experience in working with monitoring systems

Could have skills

• Practical Experience in setting up a Cloudformation template
• Practical Experience in setting up and working with AWS containers (ECS)
• Practical Experience in DNS, networking (VPN, load balancing) and security
