Quality Assurance Engineer - Macedonia

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback;
• Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality;
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities;
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs;
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved;
• Oversee release testing;
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
• 3+ years of QA/development work experience;
• Strong knowledge of Java/C/C++
• Strong scripting experience preferably in JavaScript;
• Solid understanding of computer science concepts;
• Good understanding of Tomcat/Apache/Html/JavaScript;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Effective testing skills with proficient knowledge in test planning and execution;
• Ability to write simple relational database queries (select, insert, update and delete);
• Experience working with Unix/Linux.
