Our Client, a reputable company from the financial services sector, is looking for motivated and committed candidate for the position:

HEAD OF IT DEPARTMENT

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Management, maintenance and administration of:

• Microsoft Windows Server with built-in services as: file and print server, DNS, DHCP
• Active Directory Domain Services, Group policy
• Microsoft Exchange 2013
• Linux SUSE/CentOS
• System administration of Oracle 11, MS SQL Server
• Microsoft Hyper-V Cluster virtual environment
• Backup system to ensure regular backup of the data from various sources, such as file systems, MS  SQL, Oracle databases, email server
•  IT Security systems, such as McAfee antivirus solution, Sophos firewall and best security practices
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 8/10 end-user operating systems, Microsoft Office packages, other end-user applications, HP and Canon printers
• Technical support for all employees and end-user devices

• Management, monitoring of following IT systems and key concepts of:

• IBM and Fujitsu Storage Area Network systems
• HP and IBM servers
• Local Area Network, HP and Cisco switching equipment
• UPS HP and IBM
• Telephony system Grandstream VoIP

• To follow latest technology development in this area, to contribution in design and implementation of IT projects from system administration area
• Experience with disaster recovery site

Key requirements:

• A university degree in Computer science is desirable
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Work experience as a system administrator is an asset
• Independent working style with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external parties
• Good analytical skills to identify the root cause of malfunction and troubleshoot
• Project management skills will be considered as advantage with ability to oversee the bigger picture and how to deliver the end goal
• Good knowledge of English language
