As a non-governmental social development organisation, it helps children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education and health.

In order to further satisfy this responsibility, SOS Children’s Villages International for its Competence Centre Programme&Strategy in Innsbruck and Skopje is seeking a committed

                                                                   Software Support Engineer (f/m)

                                                                         position based in Skopje

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist end users to fully exploit software functionalities of Programme Database
• Establish a good relationship to software key users and maintain the key user network
• Develop IT product documentation and training material as well as conduct trainings for end users
• Support the IT product team to resolve issues entered into the service desk, acting as a point of escalation for more serious issues
• Ensure that incidents are resolved in a timely manner to meet defined SLAs
• Work proactively on the prevention of incidents, and on monitoring data quality

Requirements:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training from certified institute
• At least three years’ experience in IT service delivery, software key user management and training
• Professional command of MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills and command of English
• Analytical and proactive mind-set to drive best-practices and the use of common processes
• Attentive to details and critical thinking
• Willingness to travel to other SOS affiliates
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools would be advantageous
