
Quality Engineer
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline,
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the automotive, white goods, or metal manufacturing sectors,
- Knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001),
- Proficient in Quality Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and related methodologies,
- Experienced in problem-solving techniques such as 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa,
- Preferably knowledgeable in the SAP S/4HANA Quality Management (QM) Module,
- Proficient in MS Office applications,
- Good command of English; knowledge of Turkish is preferred,
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances,
- Proficient in the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauges, protractors, and other inspection equipment,
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindset,
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment,
- Holds a valid driver's license and is an active driver,
- Willing to participate in a 2 to 6-month training program at our production facility in Turkey as part of the onboarding process.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensure the effective execution of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities,
- Monitor the implementation of quality inspections in accordance with quality control plans throughout production processes,
- Ensure that quality control results are accurately recorded in the SAP system and that all related documentation is properly maintained,
- Continuously monitor, analyze, and improve product and process quality,
- Manage internal and external customer quality requirements, participate in customer audits, and represent the company during quality-related activities,
- Prepare for internal and external audits and provide support throughout the audit process,
- Perform root cause analyses for non-conformities and initiate, monitor, and close corrective and preventive actions (CAPA),
- Monitor, analyze, and report quality performance indicators to management on a regular basis,
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Supplier Quality teams to resolve production-, process-, and supplier-related quality issues,
- Take an active role in continuous improvement projects to ensure the sustainability of quality standards,
- Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at increasing customer satisfaction.
