Agile Pro Solutions (APS), headquartered in the USA, is currently growing its team in Skopje.

For the needs of our client (construction industry), we are looking for an organized, technically capable Permit Expediter & CAD Drafting Specialist to manage permits and create permit-ready drawings for residential reconstruction projects.

Ideal candidate must understand CAD, Xactimate sketches, residential construction, and general structural requirements. They will partner closely with Restoration Project Managers to move projects from initial scope through permit approval.

Working hours: Monday - Friday: 16:00 - 00:00 (office based in Skopje) 

Responsibilities

• Manage permit applications from submission through approval.
• Convert Xactimate sketches into CAD and permit-ready drawings.
• Create and revise floor plans, elevations, dimensions, and basic construction details.
• Partner directly with Restoration Project Managers to understand project scope, gather needed information, and keep projects moving.
• Provide clear weekly updates on every active permit and identify outstanding needs or next steps.
• Communicate with municipalities, plan reviewers, engineers, contractors, and project managers.
• Proactively address plan-review comments, corrections, and missing information.
• Research permitting requirements for different jurisdictions.
• Recognize when drawings or structural conditions require an engineer.
• Maintain organized and accurate project files.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or comparable CAD software.
• Ability to read and create residential construction drawings.
• Working knowledge of Xactimate sketches.
• General knowledge of residential construction and structural requirements.
• Permitting, drafting, construction, restoration, architecture, or engineering experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Must be a self-starter who takes ownership without needing constant direction.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research, troubleshoot, and figure things out independently.
• Strong communication and follow-through.
