About the Role

We are looking to expand our development team within the EMEA region, in our Skopje Office, Republic of North Macedonia. The successful candidate will report directly to the CTO, and will also support the marketing team in managing and improving the website.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing APIs.
• Developing front end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Maintain, update, and improve a variety of proprietary web applications.
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to conclusion.
• Troubleshooting issues and problem-solving as necessary.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Keeping up current with industry trends and developments that can be applied to company needs.
   

Requirements:

• Fluent English. 
• Problem-solving skills and operational autonomy.
• Good knowledge of Python and databases (relational and NoSQL i.e. Postgresql, MongoDB).
• Good knowledge of PHP version 5.4 or newer with PDO database support (PHP 7+ preferable).
• Good knowledge of CSS/HTML.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail.

 

Desired Skills:

• MySQL or MariaDB, 5.0.15 or greater.
• Apache Web Server.
• Knowledge of ProcessWire CMS.
