MOTIVI for its Danish clients (Vita Media Group) is looking for a highly motivated and professional Technical Manager, who is looking for a chance to prove themselves by building a team that will develop outstanding software and Games.

Profile: Technical Manager
Primary Skils:  People & Project Mngt, Java, Angular
Seconday Skils:  AWS Services, Smtp/Postfix

Technical Manager Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews, hire and train new technical support/IT staff
• Provide guidance and insight to upper management and procure buy-in to CTO & Tech Lead in the Danish office.
• Report progress, including any changes made to plans and production
• Contribute to product design and establishment of requirements
• Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor the progress of projects
• Deliver products consistently, on time, and on budget
• Oversee user testing and report results—adjust requirements as needed
• Work closely with project manager during all phases of the development lifecycle
• Review all work produced by the development team
• Ensure code produced meets company standards
• Should also be able to lead the technical development, and therefore fill both managerial and technical expert roles.
• It is a plus if the candidate has a good understanding of the commercial objectives behind the projects & platforms, as proactive initiatives for improving the software is welcome, be it new architecture or refactoring.

Technical Manager Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Information Technology field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in management
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
• Exceptional communication and reporting skills in English
• Solid working knowledge in all required software and programming languages
• Outstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively

Nice to Have

• MBA or Master’s degree preferred
• Evidence of continuing education, such as certifications, a plus

• VitaMediaLab Platform - A Data Driven Affiliate Marketing Platform with a backend in Java, frontends in Angular
• EkstraPoint - An iGaming loyalty platform where iGaming players can participate and play various games for free and win “EP Points”
• Affiliate Platform - A simple platform for allowing clients to access the marketing campaigns for VitaMediaLabs
• Push Messaging System - This system acts as a proxy between sending clients (VitaMediaLab Platform, EkstraPoint), and actual delivery endpoints
• HTML5 Games - The EkstraPoint platform relies on good quality and entertaining games. The Games will be built using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (Vanilla, JQuery, Create.js etc.) - and Java will be used for the backend services, including REST, for RNG, user, leaderboard
