Job Summary:

 

Infosec Partners are a leading Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), seeking a Cyber Security Technical Consultant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 24/7 cybersecurity services to clients, including Fortinet managed services, cybersecurity monitoring, and incident investigation services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Act as a technical consultant, providing expertise and guidance to clients on cybersecurity matters, including threat detection, incident response, and risk management.

 

• Lead security assessments, audits, and penetration testing, and provide recommendations for improvement based on findings.

 

• Provide technical support and training to clients on cybersecurity best practices and solutions.

 

• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, and develop and implement solutions to mitigate risks.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience:

 

• Strong technical skills in network security, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, and threat detection and response.

 

• Experience in incident investigation and response, including forensic analysis and remediation activities.

 

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

 

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong sense of initiative and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

 

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

 

• Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCNA Security.

 

• Experience working in a managed security services environment, providing 24/7 cybersecurity services to clients.

 

• Practical experience of compliance and certification standards (ISO 27001, Cyber essentials, PCI DSS, etc)

 

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
