R&D Engineer

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline,
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Research & Development (R&D), product development, or product design,
• Good command of English; knowledge of Turkish is preferred,
• Proficient in SolidWorks (Part Design and Assembly modules),
• Preferably experienced in SAP,
• Proficient in MS Office applications,
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System,
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and prepare technical documentation,
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Innovative mindset with a passion for research and continuous learning,
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment,
• Able to adapt to flexible working hours,
• No travel restrictions,
• Willing to participate in a 2 to 6-month training program at our production facility in Turkey as part of the onboarding process.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design and develop new products and carry out continuous improvement activities for existing products,
• Take an active role in cost reduction and productivity improvement projects,
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical drawings, and technical documentation,
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor New Product Introduction (NPI) processes,
• Manage prototype manufacturing processes and support product validation activities,
• Analyze product technical performance and propose improvement solutions,
• Work closely with the Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Planning departments to ensure projects are completed on time,
• Maintain technical communication with internal and external customers and provide support for technical inquiries,
• Plan, monitor, and report R&D projects in line with company objectives,
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to support the company's product development activities.
