IM LABS 2019, in collaboration with the well-established UK-based travel company Beach Villas, is looking for a detail-driven and reliable:

Junior Accountant/Accounting Assistant 

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial transactions and ensure our accounting records are accurate, up to date, and compliant. This is a key position supporting both local operations and our UK-based partner, and it requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records on a daily basis
• Process supplier invoices and payments, and resolve any related queries
• Reconcile bank transactions and accounts monthly
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and prepayments
• Complete VAT returns and support tax compliance
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Record and reconcile client payments in the back-office system
• Support the implementation of new financial systems and processes
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management and clients

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar finance role
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and processes
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with accounting software (Xero is a plus)
• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn
