Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery;
  • Providing real-time updates to drivers and customers regarding the status of shipments;
  • Handling unforeseen issues and delays with efficiency and professionalism;
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation;
  • Ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications:  

  • Prior experience in US market;
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficiency with dispatch software and technology

Recruiting:

  • Cold calling.
  • Sourcing candidates: Actively search for potential drivers through various channels, including job boards, online platforms, industry events, and referrals.
  • Screening and evaluating candidates: Review driver resumes and applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' skills, experience, and qualifications. This includes verifying their driving records, licenses, and certifications.
  • Building relationships: Develop and maintain professional relationships with drivers to ensure a strong roster of candidates. Act as a point of contact throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Conducting orientation and onboarding: Facilitate driver orientation and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Effective communication, timely response, and staying updated with industry trends are essential for success as a driver recruiter.
